India Beat loves Vivenda
Vivenda dos Palhacos is our favorite place to stay in Goa, the house is over a century old but has been beautifully updated by brother and sister team Simon and Charlotte Hayward over the last few years. They now have 8 eclectic bedrooms just a few minutes walk from the gorgeous beach. The best part is that this feels like a home rather than a hotel. Everything is completely relaxed and the best things in life are perfectly executed from the delicious breakfast to the excellent evening cocktails.
We booked the whole of Vivenda for a week with some friends and wished we had stayed two. From the house we visited spectacular private palaces and the vast cavernous cathedrals of Old Goa. Another adventurous day was spent fishing but mostly we just relaxed by the pool in the house’s pretty garden or on the beach where everything you need is on tap!
