The Name: The Leela Udaipur

The Place: On the banks of Lake Pichola in Udaipur

What’s it like: Super luxe interior, ultra modern rooms with gadgets galore. Not much outside space but lovely pool overlooking the lake. Restaurants are uber modern, very international and delicious. The meeting rooms and confrence centers are state of the art.

What we love: Arriving by boat. Amazing business facilities and restaurants.

What to avoid: The drive in, think narrow alley with traffic, make sure you come by boat. The price, ouch!

India Beat Verdict: Great for a conference.
