What does he do? Started India Beat, which specialises in tailormade subcontinental trips and fashion production work in India.
What makes him special? The experiences he organises – dinner at a private palace; a service at a Ganesh temple, where the clients can ask the priest questions. “It’s not just about spoiling people,” he says. “I also take them to the local orphanage and animal charity to see some of the problems. The idea is to create a more complete picture.”
What’s his story? He worked as an assistant to Mario Testino, so knows how to please demanding people. Now he lives in Jaipur with his wife and business partner, Victoria Dyer.
Why India? “It’s unendingly complicated. And whether you are at a glamorous party or trekking in Ladakh the people are the most charming I’ve met.”
Best moment in the job. “Seeing a tiger tracking a small herd of sambar deer.”
