Superb beaches, fantastic cuisine, charming colonial architecture and some of India’s best hotels, Goa is the perfect place to kick back and relax. Head north to explore the beautiful villages and deserted beaches around Siolim and Ashvem. Further south visit the spectacular palaces and cathedrals built by the Portuguese and stay at Vivenda, a wonderfully restored heritage home near the beach. Both fascinating and relaxing Goa is one of our favourite places in India, usually we recommend combining a week in Goa with a trip to Mumbai or the Golden Triangle of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
