India Beat hand block printed textiles
Bagru, a small town just outside of Jaipur is synonymous with traditional hand block printing and natural dye processes. India Beat work with a wonderful family of block printers who proudly collaborate with designers round the world to create exquisite collections of block printed art.
Victoria’s fascination with textiles, print and colour took us to Bagru where we began our own India Beat textiles line. Designed by Victoria and made in Bagru by master printers our textiles are all hand-printed and dyed using traditional methods.
Our beautiful India Beat scarf is a blend of silk and Indian cotton. This signature print is available in two colours, Jaipur Pink or Indigo and is $85 plus shipping. Please call or email us to arrange your order.

To learn more about how our designs are printed we can arrange a private, block printing workshop where we will take to you Bagru to meet the printers that we work with.
This is a fascinating opportunity to learn about the textile traditions of Bagru before starting your masterclass where you will create your own hand block printed textiles. We will book your class with our lead printer who will offer you a selection of his own blocks to choose from. Some of these blocks have been in the family for generations. We will prepare your fabric in advance so that once you have chosen your blocks and colour dyes you can start printing! This experience has been especially created for India Beat guests with the family.
Bagru is located outside Jaipur by an hour’s drive. Our workshops start early, you leave Jaipur at 07:00 and will be back in the city for lunch, or you will be offered a home cooked lunch with the family in Bagru. If you would prefer an extended workshop of 1-2 days this can easily be arranged. Please contact us if you would like to incorporate this wonderful experience into your India Beat holiday.
